Bernard Hoffmann
- Chief Executive Officer / Co-Founder
Mr. Hoffmann has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field in executive leadership positions throughout the country. Dart Chart Systems was introduced in 1998 to proactively capture information to receive appropriate payment for services provided under the Prospective Payment System.
Prior to Dart Chart, Mr. Hoffmann was the Managing Member of Hoffmann and Associates, L.L.C., a consulting firm that assisted nursing facilities in the financial arena.
Mr. Hoffmann was Executive Vice President of Reimbursement for Med Rehab, a contract therapy provider. Mr. Hoffmann was the Chief Operating /Chief Financial Operator for MJ Care, Inc. He was instrumental in the recovery of the company from financial difficulty. From 1980 to 1989 his experience was applied to hospitals by helping them to prosper under a cost based system as well as a prospective payment system. From 1976 to 1980 Mr. Hoffmann was an auditor for the Medicare Fiscal Intermediary in Wisconsin. Mr. Hoffmann received his bachelor degree in Business Administration-accounting and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Linda Kunz, Ph.D. - President / Co-Founder
Dr. Kunz, Co-Owner and President of Dart Chart Systems, LLC. is instrumental in the ongoing design and implementation of Dart Chart.
Dr. Kunz's prior experience includes 22 years in health care business management, including information system and business process design. Dr. Kunz's approach activates an organization's bottom line while recognizing and motivating the staff as a health care delivery team.
Dr. Kunz received her PhD in Clinical Medicine Research from Johns Hopkins University in 1979 and her Masters in Business Management from American University in 1983. She has presented as an invited speaker and published original work on health care business process, research and medicine. Dr. Kunz currently serves on the Board of Directors of a venture capital company, an information science firm and a public university involved in health care information.
